Were you happy to see the return of the trial balance (not seen since April 2003)?

I was happy as I predicted this would happen (and also becuase my accounts balanced).

The exam setters always try to make the paper unpredictable. Given what the April 05 paper was like, all words and no calculating, I was certain that the only way they could catch people out in September was to throw in a large P & L and balance sheet question (or cash flow).

And they did! They make such obvious efforts to be unpredictable that if you imagine yourself in your their place you can almost guess what they'll do every time.

I bank on them trying to be unpredictable, it's how I know what parts of the subject to really concentrate on for the exams!

My tip for April 06 CT4(103) is difference equations.

A couple of tricky ones, but I don't think the paper could have been much more straightforward.

Oh, and the only reason I got the bulldog one, was because I read the definition in your tutorial!
