    Hi,

This is regarding to get an idea about the examiner marking in exam CT3. As this subject has lenthy question and more chances errors in calculations and may be in explanation. So what would be a moderate approach to conduct and to be prepared such a lenthy and typical exam which requires explanation along with large calculations. And the intent to get aware of partial marking in this paper.

Any suggestions and advises are appreciated in advance.

    Regards
    Sunil

Are you doing assignments and getting those marked? ActED try to follow the same approach to marking as examiners do. Basically, with numeric questions, leave an audit trail of what you are trying to do. That way if it goes wrong, you will be picking up method marks. Laying out clear interim results is part of a good audit trail. Eg if you are using interpolation, put down the values you have taken from formula book, then give the interpolated figure you need having explicitly said : by interpolation. It can also help you if you underline figures you are going to use later to find them again. Have a look at past papers and see how they lay out their answers. That will give you a sensible approach.
