    Hi,

    in this question i get as far as e^beta=sumy/n ie e^beta=ybar
    the solution says that
    beta=ybar
    but why do we not take logs as the beta is in the exponential
    i thought it was beta=lnybar

    can someone help please?
    thank you

    Hi Alfie
    It should be beta=ln ybar, it is correct in the ASET but not in the examiners report, it was a typo
    Thanks Andrea
