When using goalseek in CP2, what is the best way of warning the user about goalseek being used? I previously thought about adding notes/comments on the cells which have used goalseek, however these notes/comments have my name within them (as it shows which user has left a comment/note). I don’t think it’s appropriate for the markers to see my name, so what is the best way to warn of the use of goalseek otherwise?

    Hi Elliott

I don't think comments are a great idea anyway since they may be missed by your marker. You can achieve more or less the same effect by writing something in the adjacent cell. This will be much harder to miss. Just something like "< solved using Goal Seek" and some colour coding would be sufficient.

Another thing you can do is take a screen snip of the Goal Seek window to show clearly which cell is being changed and which is the target cell and value. A check next to the cell can also highlight if the target cell contains the correct value in case it changes.
