Countersigning passports applications

    Are we as members of IFoA allowed to countersign passport applications?

    UK government site doesn't list us explicitly but surely we fall under
    • member, associate or fellow of a professional body

    Does anyone know?

    Actually to be clearer, I know we can when qualified (as long as it's not for a relative), but I have no idea whether we can when a student.

    I don't believe a student falls into that category but an associate or fellow would.

    But it is also mentioned that a member of a professional body can countersign the application?
