Can any body help me for this questions,
When using the continuity correction with a random variable X that can take any integer value , what expressions are equivalent to the following
    4≤10x<48 ?
In the solution of this question , 4≤10x<48 = 5<10x<45 .Please tell me how to calculate this equation .
This question is in chapter 8 " The central Limit theorem " on page 9 in section 3 " The continuity correction " question 8.5(vi).

Since 4≤10x<48 this means that 0.4≤x<4.8. Since x can only take integer values this means that 1≤x<5 therefore with continuity correction this means that 0.5<x<4.5 and hence 5<10x<45
