Ch. 11, sec. 6 ..page 27 In qus. 11.15 , does it make any difference if we take D= (B - A) instead of (A-B)?? As by doing it, the interval will be (0.74,3.26) .. which differs from one given in solution.. so, Can we take D= (B-A)? plz anyone rply asap thanks!
You just get the negative of the confidence interval. This is equivalent. If the examiners want it a particular way they'll state it otherwise both will be marked as correct as they are equivalent.
