I'm a student from american. I'm paying the exam fee by myself. thinking of taking the british sa6 and st6. I know the passing % of us exams is higher. The volume of study material is huge. pretty sure double of the british exams.

just wanna make sure one thing. Is the CMP form actEd enough to pass SA6 and ST6?

ST6 has two set course books as well.

SA6 draws on ST5 and CA1 notes to some extent

    ST6 maybe , SA6 probably not.

SA's are absolutely and correctly notorious for asking you anything and everything on the wider topics.

EDIT: This board is littered with students who have received FAs from not having studied around the course as proof of that.

    Hi

ST6/SA6 corresponds to SOAs Investment track papers (e.g APMV) - I presume this is what you are trying to get exemption from

ST5/SA5 corresponds to SOAs finance track - i reckon this may be a better combination cos ST5 is easier than ST6 (unless you really like maths) , and SA5 has similar pass rate to SA6.
