Hello, I know that all the workings, including formulas and answers, must be written in Word for the CM1 paper A. I wonder if it is allowed to do any of the following: - Have a separate word with generic formulas (such as a_x:n = a_x - v^n*npx*a_x+n) and copy these to your answers' document during the exam and replace the x and n with numerical values. Is this allowed? - Have saved formulas in the Word application and insert them during the exam from the equation ribbon? Please share any tips you might find helpful in typing mathematical expressions in Word. Thank you,
Hi Gabriela, We understand that some students have asked similar questions to the IFoA and then received positive responses. However, as it is not completely clear from the rules and documentation available on their website, I would suggest clarifying each approach with the IFoA directly should you plan to use them during the exams. Thanks, Richie
Hi Richie, Thank you for your reply. Could you please advise how to approach the IFoA directly with questions like this about the exam? Thank you
