In Chapter 3, when we mention sanctions under functions of regulator, do we mean sanctions on a company, on a country, or something else? Is there a specific example?

Hi - this means sanctions (or penalties) imposed by the regulator on an organisation, such as on an insurance company or on an insurance broker. An example could be a substantial fine where the company has been determined to have mis-sold a product.
