Q-Claims are independent and follow a gamma(a,b) distribution. Find max likelihood estimates of a and b choosing from the following- a=1.7,1.8,1.9,1.2 b=0.0015,0.0016....0.002 In the solution for this, the log likelihood has been calculated using pgamma but shouldn't we use dgamma instead?
