    Does the martingale property still apply if the sign on the coefficient of Zt is different from that shown in Q14.4?

    Martingale property

    Yes, since Z(t) has a normal (and therefore symmetric) distribution, properties of a function f(Z) will be the same as f(-Z). So, in this case, we know f(Z) is a martingale, so f(-Z) must be also.

    ok so this is true because Zt is symmetrical, isn't it?
