    Hi,

Under Chapter 13.3 Linear Predictor, after we calculate the estimated values by putting 0 for base assumptions. How do we then calculate the true/actual values? Do we need to change the base assumptions to something else?

Appreciate if anyone can help me with this, please.

    Thanks,
    SR.

    Hi Syukri

After you have estimated your parameters you could calculate the estimated value of the response variable for a particular value of an explanatory variable by calculating the value of the linear predictor and by using the inverse of the link function, there is an example in section 5.7, p48 of Chapter 13.

    Hope this helps.
