Chapter 1 Question 1.7b

The risk increases daily by a linear function, so for example there is twice the risk in 30 June 2015 as there is in 31st December 2014.

Consider a linear function from 1 to max risk as per the attached image. The UPR is the red part which is 75% of the total area. I split the graph into equal triangles but you can also use any system you wish to derive the answer.
