Hi guys,

I am currently thinking of moving into the general insurance sector. I am currently working in the pensions consultancy sector. I have about 3 years experience. I just wanted to know if the change is advisible, such as would it be easy for me to pick up the skills in that sector with my background. I have also nearly completed my CT's as well.

So I just need some advice. Please help me.

Thanks

There have been quite a lot of posts on switching from pensions to GI in the past. Here is a good place to start.

I swtiched at a very similar point to you and am very glad I did.

In terms of picking up the skills it will probably be a tough 6 months when you move over but it's certainly not like starting again.
