Changes to associateship...

The latest Student Consultative Forum minutes noted that CA2 and CA3 are being dropped for the Associate route.

From July 2015, anyone wanting to become AIA/AFA will be able to do so by passing CTs + CA1 and attending a PSC (as now) and a new "work based project".

Seems quite sensible to me, what does everyone else think...?

Hi.Do you know where we can read these new rules for Associateship?
My personal opinion is CA2 and CA3 both can be replaced by seminars and workshops. They shouldnt really stand in the way of fellowship or associateship for any candidate.I would say this is a step in the right direction.

It always seemed logical to me that the requirements for Associateship were a subset of those for Fellowship. The change they're proposing may be sensible - difficult to tell without more details - but, if so, why not extend it to the Fellowship route too?
