How do we judge normality by using a dot plot?
What more useful inferences can be made from a dot plot?

Dotplots can give u an idea about outliers(i.e. data points which are away from whole sample). If u find outliers in a particular dotplot then it is less likely that our data is symmetrical(and normal) since symmetrical distributions do not have any outliers.. But on other end, because we are provided with small sample size, it is less likely that it act as a representative of population, and so we can't draw exact conclusions from that!

Another useful inference which can be drawn from dotplot is about spread of distribution(a rough idea of variance)
