When calculating central exposed to risk with exact method i.e. all the dates are known. What difference it makes when we calculate it age last birthday or age next birthday or age nearest birthday? Please take the reference of Q11.4 to help me understand.

Taking the example of life A in Q11.4

From 1/1/2001 to 24/4/01, A will be aged 31 LAST birthday since the last birthday he celebrated during this period was on 25/4/00 when he turned 31 years old.

Or if the age definition is changed to age NEXT birthday, he will be aged 32 next birthday since the next birthday he will celebrate during this period is on 24/4/01 when he will turn 32 years old.

If the age definition is now changed to age NEAREST birthday, he will be aged 32 nearest birthday since the nearest birthday that he will celebrate/has celebrated during this period is on 24/4/01 at which he will be 32 years old.

Thus, in short, he will contribute 114 days to central exposed to risk at age:
    a)31 last birthday OR
    b)32 next birthday OR
    c)32 nearest birthday.

depending upon the age definition used in the question.
