Hi all,
Currently a valuation actuary working in asia with a couple years of experience under by belt. Seeking to break into a role in structured finance (eg. insurance and pension solutions) as the nature of work seems really interesting, albeit challenging too.
Thus, I was hoping if any experienced actuaries here could share some insights into:
1) Whether it's possible for a valuation actuary to break into such roles
2) What other sort of experience or technical skills should I be looking to develop further
3)When would be a good time in the career to make such a move
Would greatly appreciate any insights or opinions! Many thanks.
