I'm sure I read somewhere recently that we shouldn't use excel functions that were introduced in more recent versions. (kind of makes sense - wouldn't want to be unfair towards those with older version of excel.) However I can't find this now? Did I read something relating to another exam? or does someone recognise this? Can I use the CHISQ.TEST function? seems handy if I can.
You can use any functions that are available in Excel 2013 onwards. It looks like CHISQ.TEST has been available from Excel 2010*, so it looks like you're OK to use it *Just under the title of this page, it looks like there's a list of the versions of Excel this function is available for: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/chisq-test-function-2e8a7861-b14a-4985-aa93-fb88de3f260f It's page 7 of the Exams Handbook you want for the rule.
