Just checked out the "pass rate" on CA2 exams since the beginning of 2012 to the last results published as at 27 June 2013 - there were 75 results, and here is a summary: 60 results over 2012 1132 attempts, 753 passes granted, pass rate ~ 67% 15 results over 2013 so far 285 attempts, 164 passes granted, pass rate ~ 58% Then I split the results into 5 lots of 15 results: 1st 15: 198 /269 ~ 74% 2nd 15: 184/298 ~ 62% 3rd 15: 189/275 ~ 69% 4th 15: 182/290 ~ 63% 5th 15: 164/285 ~ 58% Seems consistent enough - although I hope the 1st 15 result applies to the exam I wrote yesterday!
You'll pass if you deserve it. Past pass rates are not a guide to future. You can only do your best at whatever you take.
Yeah, I think I was just making the assumptions that the calibre of students basically stays the same and the standard of the exams basically stays the same... and on those assumptions was therefore trying to see whether there was consistency in the standard of marking or whether the marking was perhaps getting more or less generous/ lenient
