Could someone tell me how the CA2 online exam (new version from March 2015) will work in practical terms? Do the question papers get emailed to candidates at the exam start time, or do we need to log in to a portal and download them, or something else....? Will we have online access to the CT course notes etc? Similarly, when the exam finishes, do we submit our answers via email by a certain time or need to upload them somewhere? Thanks!
I think you're better off asking these questions directly to the IFoA. I'm not sure of exactly how the new format will work, as you have two exam papers to get through. But email isn't involved - you need to download/upload the papers and your submission.
They've developed a nifty piece of software that does it all. A month or so before the exam you install it. And yes via the portal you can download your paper and CT core reading and when you're done you can upload your solution.
