Can anyone suggest topics to prepare from CA1 which are building blocks of ST5? I haven't studied CA1 but have sat ST5 once, but could not pass it. Please suggest the respective topics for ST5 in CA1. Falak.
There is a little bit of repetition of CA1 in ST5 (eg regulation). Some chapters of CA1 may have proved useful in past ST5 exam questions, eg: - property - CISs (Collective Investment Schemes) - money market securities - investment strategy - institutions and personal - overseas markets It would be useful to hear from other students what bits of CA1 they found useful in preparing for ST5.
