I assume the usual path through the exams, once you've finished the CTs, is to move on the CA1.

However, someone told me yesterday its common to leave CA1 to last, as its useful to have more relevant work experience when you sit this, so it may be best to do the STs after the CTs.

What do people think about this, and what is the usual route people take?

ST and SA subjects assume you have the knowledge of CA1, so they could be difficult to pass if you don't. But... it's not impossible / unheard of taking that route, though not all that common in my opinion.

Ca1 will give some good general background relevant to the later subjects and some depth relevant to later subjects is added.

Leaving it until last means you may have gained too much in depth knowledge relevant to a given subject and fail to see the wider picture.

So my advise is don't leave until last and do it running to April
