Congrats everyone! I passed ST5, it was my 4th attempt after two FAs and one FB. Now just Ct4, ca2 and ca3 left.
Phew I slew the CA1 beast... was quite a good surprise Congrats to those who passed and to those who didn't make it, do not give up.... ALUTA CONTINUA..the fight must go on...all the best for the April 2010 Edit. ......what matter is that you get to the end!! For now have a merry Xmass and passed filled 2010...
ok one more post from me....i just wanted to say i started 8 years ago, and along the way I have felt, several times, like giving up. I'm pleased now I didn't but it did get difficult to see the light sometimes. I just hope if anyone else thinks this, then try to think about how it will be when you finish, it's still sinking in for me and I really feel like I have a new life!
You sound really pleased. Well done! Now you can tell people how hard the exams were in your day, and how much easier they are now! I also qualified this sitting, but tbh I feel more relief I have no more exams rather than happiness that I qualified. Now I need another challenge.....
To me it means nothing more than a way of guaranteeing yourself a good salary. Although, I am pretty sure I was on more than most newly qualified actuaries before I qualified (which I haven't offically WBS arghhhh).
