Has anyone heard anything about this?

It doesn't exist yet, but we would like to develop one or more part-time diplomas (replacing say the CTs, some of the CTs and the CAs or even the CAs and STs). All very early days. We are currently asking employers for their views and anything we put together would need accreditation from the Profession.

Is there a demand for this? Happy to hear students' views too.

We won't be looking to simply replicate the current exams - since this would just create an alternative exam system, that only competes on pass rates. Instead we will be looking to focus on specific (useful) topics, include more flexibility, tutor support and add in business/management skills etc etc. (But of course we hope pass rates will be higher too.)

I reckon anything that doesn't compete on pass rates will be a non starter
