I don't understand the meaning of bold words here: There may be difficulties here both with defining the markets involved and then obtaining estimates of the relevant market capitalisations, eg the “property market”, the “overseas equity market”. I would be happy if you could tell me in brief as to what index tracking is and how is it done. Thanks!
