    Hello all

In part (i) of this question we are using a continuity correction when using the estimate of p.

In part (ii) we are not using a continuity correction, is there a reason why we don’t use a continuity correction for the difference in proportions?

    Thanks

Yes - since the probability inequality is the same for both proportions the continuity corrections will both cancel out.
