According to yesterday's mail, the April 2023 Exam will still be held under the old format. Is the CMP 2023 material mainly updated due to the new exam format and some new text book parts, which will come into effect in September 2023? I already have the CMP 2019 and therefore I am wondering if that would be fine? Of course if I update them with the CMP Upgrades?
Hi Nanaba, The CMP currently being sold reflects the style of the April 2023 exam (ie the old style). It also reflects the new version of the textbook though (11th edition), which contains the majority of the Core Reading even for the April 2023 exam. So if you have materials from 2019, the textbook (10th edition) will be out of date. ActEd are currently producing a 'Tutor Talk' video to discuss this issue and it should be released today or early next week. I'll update you here when it is available to watch. Thanks, Richie
