Hi everyone, im not sure if im missing anything here, but the question is asking for us to comment on the behaviour of the pdf as beta increases but we are told x>=\beta so any increase to the denominator would surely be more than any increase to the numberator (beta) so i would hva esaid that the pdf got smaller. why is it the case that the pdf increases? thanks
You need to consider beta alone, x is a constant which we assume is greater than beta, so if we increase beta the pdf increases. This question was tricky!
