I hope papers like this aren't harder to pass. If I don't get it, it's because of my own inadequacies and mistakes due to time pressure and just being unable to pass. Very fair paper I guess, examiner's didn't try too hard to trick us.
q1) Straightforward vanilla Swaption valuation
q2) Straingtforward EMM and solution to Vasicek
q3) Bookwork
q4) part (i) (a) ddn't quite get what the examiner's aimed at. The rest of the question straightforward Finite 'differences'.
q5) part (iii) of 7 marks quite not clear
q6) Nice question, but I was kinda surprised at the 'straddle-like' appearance of my graph of the Chooser-Option, so I kinda didnt go confidently with the rest of the question.
q7)BOOK-WORK applied. I actually spent the night before going through this as it was 'changes to 2012 core-readng for 2013 exams'.
q8) The BRT has been asked before, but the examiner's seemed to speak about E(X).
Quite okay, but during that time we normally make mistakes and don't read questions.
Let's hope I'm not deceiving myself.
CA1 is HUGE and next.
