This question talks about "Method 1" and "Method 2" - I'm quite confused as to what these are as have not heard of these being talked about. Is this because SII rules changed and these are now irrelevant? Or can these still be examined (even if these Methods are not in the core reading now and even if they are out-of-date with SII).
If I still need to know these, could someone please explain these in a simple way? (Especially if examiners happen to just copy and paste this part of the question in future exams). Thanks very much in advance.
 
This is out of date now, and I think it's very unlikely the examiners would ask you about draft legislation that never came in, and which is now irrelevant.

There are plenty of previous posts about this exam question. It's often worth having a look through the forum before posting a question, it'll probably save you time.
