Well, for me.. I started preparing for the Exam late so i did not prepare enough. But I think the exam was fair. For someone who has prepared it can easily be passed. Time is never enough so I did not finish, but the trick is to spend the little time available answering questions you know best.
I think that's a reasonable assessment - the last 9 marks on maximum likelihood estimators seemed nasty and I didn't get very far with that one, but there's always at least one 'curve ball'!
Apparently... I attended a tutorial for this September 2011 sitting, and the tutors were under the impression that the April 2011 exam was one of the easiest CT3 papers set in quite a while. So god knows what horror they have set for this September sitting (my one).
