CT6 April 2010 Exam - what did you think?
So its now safe to discuss the CT6 exam - what did everybody think???
I thought is was quite tough overall - the first half was quite nice, but some of the bigger questions were a bit confusing.
I remember the last couple of questions in paticular were odd - the penultimate one about ruin theory and deriving an expression for R, and the last question started with some easy marks for EBCT Model 1, but I don't know what they wanted for the second half of the question.
Thanks god forthe 10 or 11 easyish marks for the runoff triangle question!
And when they asked what the Bayes solution was to the game theory question, how were you meant to work it out? Were you meant to express it in terms of p?
I only just finished too, (having skipped the second half of the penultimate question) - did anyone else struggle for time?
