I'm interested in everyone esp tutors' opinions on the possible topics that might come up in the Apr 2024 exams. For example, is climate change/green energy likely to come up again? Thanks!
Hi amelhypo The IFoA examiners are separate from ActEd and ActEd have no input into what examination question are asked. Candidates will know about the question content before we do (when they sit the exams). (Even if we, the ActEd tutors, did know, which we don't, we wouldn't possibly be able to comment ). I know it's more work, but the best / safest thing to do is to be ready for questions from any area of the course - so practice exam questions from all areas. Be sure to use the most exam paper questions in your preparation as these will be most representative of the type (eg the way questions are introduced or broken down) of questions that could come up, given they will have been sent by the same examinations team.
