I will be sitting the IFoA exam this April. The thought just occurred to me to try a few IAI papers for CT4. Does this make sense? Is it the same syllabus but perhaps differing choice of topics patterns? Thanks!
I would like to answer it in 2 ways 1) Yes it make sense. If you want to understand the concept deeply. Practice practice practice.. IAI exams are more theoretical and time management is difficult in IAI exam. e.x. In Apr'2016 One sum asked on Nelson Allen Estimator for 6 marks with 2 different data. Wherein IFoA exam asks it for 6 marks with single data. 2)Am appearing for both the exams at same diet. While studying for IAI exam I refere IFoA papers. And for IFoA exam IAI exam papers helps me to think in the way of examiner. And this is applicable mutually
