    Hi All,

I am trying to incorporate headings into my exam question answers. For example, For product design questions I will use the product design states as headings for answers (Product Design, Pricing, Sales & Marketing, Underwriting...). I am trying to consider a framework for each topic that I can apply to most questions is that topic.

Does anyone have any suggested frameworks that are useful for each section of course for the purpose of idea generation in the exams?

    Thanks,
    D

    Hi Dane,

    Headings are a great idea.

A useful one that I use a lot is the items in the P&L account:

Premiums (can subdivide into NB volumes and mix, persistency)
    Claims (frequency, amount, inflation)
    Expenses (types, inflation)
    Investment income
    Tax
    Profit

It's useful for questions on profitability, but can also often be used in questions on risks, assumptions, pricing, UW, etc.
