Annuity and term assurance functions...

    ... I've clearly forgotten everything I learnt in CT1/5 and can't remember how to calculate even the easiest functions for assignment X4.

    Can anyone remind me of:

    A x:n

    ..
    a x:n

    (the n in each case has a ¬ around it)

    Having a minor brain freeze!!

    I think you'll find them in the formula book.

    Not as far as I can see?! Only the conversion formulas are there?

    Ax:n = 1- delta * ax:n
    You can do it from scratch, ie add probabilities and discount factors.

    or ax:n = ax - n|a(x+n)
     
  5. And don't forget pages 100/1 and 106/7 if x and n sum to 60 or 65. Hopefully most of the questions will be like this, in the exam at least!
