Spent Easter over at a mates house. He'd recorded a load of American sports off late night Television and we spent most of a day watching them. There's not much better way of spending a weekend...(Apart from revising of course Mr examiner, don't hurt me...) Really got into the Ice-Hockey. What a crazy sport. The commentators didn't even know what was going on half the time. It got to a mad stage where one team took their goalie off so that they could have 6 vs 5 coming forward. Mad! Followed that by a baseball game. Never seen one before and my friend spent the entire game teaching me the rules. The team that was ahead coming up to the final stretch put on a specialist pitcher to "close out the game". He promptly walked 3 batters onto the 3 bases and then let the fourth guy hit a home run. Apparently that's called a Grand Slam... His coach wasn't best pleased I heartely encourage people to watch more of these...great fun, but if you're a fan of baseball then there's a Fantasy game site: www.fantasybaseballuk.com The season on there doesn't start for real until the 1st of May.
