Hi,

Is it better to keep affiliate membership of IFoA or get associateship. For working in actuarial practice and in banking and finance. Are affiliates equivalent to fellows. And in terms of signing off actuarial advice.
 
I don't think affiliate membership gives you much outside of interactions with actuarial events and networking opportunities - this may be enough if that's all you're looking for

It's definitely not the same as becoming a fellow or an associate of the profession
