Actuary magazine has stopped doing interviews of fellows..i think it was a good idea to know where the senior actuaries are and how have they done post qualification....do people think that Actuary magazine should re-introduce interview section??
it would be interesting actually i remember once seeing an article in act magazine about a person who qualified as a barrister accountant and an actuary (in record time)!!
Yeah they should bring that section back - it was interesting to read of what people had got up post-qualification etc....
Ask the real questions that matter! We could ask why there is such a big hole in the Insitute of Actuaries pension scheme (now closed to new members) and why we (well our companies really) should have to pay increased subscriptions to cover it!
