    Hiya,

I was wondering if any tutors who read this could tell me what its like to be an Acted Tutor. What do you do on a day-to-day basis, what are the working hours, the commuting, and the teaching like?

I really enjoy the teaching side of my job (i.e. coaching new graduates/giving training etc) and am seriously considering becoming a tutor once I qualify.

I'd be really grateful if someone could write about 'a day in the life of...' style post to give me some idea of what its like!

    Thanks

I'm not totally sure, but I don't think you have to be a qualified Actuary to be an ActEd tutor. I think you can run tutorials in subjects you have passed. I'm sure someone more knowledgable will be along shortly though :)

Edit: I think I might be wrong actually. More info here:

Just get in touch with me if you're interested. Lots of details on our website.

At the time of writing there are no vacancies, but the situation can always change so if you want to be put on the waiting list, do get in touch.
