The examiners report just gave a list of advantages and disadvantages for experience rating and didn't tailor to the differences between the two methods in part ii (prospective & retrospective). Why did they structure the answer like this?
Hi Jonathans, Yes it would have been nice if part (iii) bore more relation to part (ii) wouldn't it! As it happens though, most "pros and cons of experience rating" questions are pretty similar, they just want you to discuss "experience rating vs not experience rating". See for example ST3 Sept 2006 Question 5.
