Hi, I am confused why the GLM would attempt to attach a negative parameter to the 4 bedroom group and then why as a consequence would the unknown group be assigned a positive parameter? Why is it that the 4 bedroom group drives the parameter rather than the 13,953 exposure? Thanks!
Don’t worry o.menary, you’re not the first to be confused by the concept of near aliaising. Have a look at this thread here https://www.acted.co.uk/forums/index.php?threads/chapter-16-glm.6617/.
