According to the Institute webpage ( http://www.actuaries.org.uk/__data/assets/pdf_file/0003/169608/FandI_SA6_changes_2011_sylcr.pdf ), the syllabus for the 2011 exams is the same, but there are a lot of chages to the core reading. Given the requirement to be up-to-date, my thought is that for the October 2010 exam, the 2011 core reading is more relevant than the 2010 core reading. Any thoughts? Where can i buy the 2011 core reading from (i think it is not yet available from acted.com)? Thanks.
core reading changes There are a large number of changes to certain chapters, mainly focusing on changes to historical returns and regulation. The core reading 2011 is not yet on sale.
Thanks. I have emailed the Institute - they said the Core Reading for 2011 will be available at the end of this month, by 31 July from the eShop.
