Hi - I would like to know how relevant are the past papers from 2005 - 2009 to the current SA3? Should we practise them? Has the syllabus changed significantly since 2010 ?

Please let me know if anyone has done these papers and found them to have a different approach than the latest ones.

Yes, all past papers are to an extent valid - and there's nothing stopping you going back further into Subject 403, G, QG, 9a, 9b..... (apart from the fact the IFoA website stops at 1999). But bear in mind that there have been numerous changes over the years, not just in the syllabus and core reading, but also in terms of legislation, taxation, market trends, etc. So concentrate more so on the more recent years, and perhaps 'skim' through the older ones.
