Can anyone please explain to me that how is P(T0 > t) = probability that no event occurs between the time 0 and time t?
Hi Aisha, I don’t have a copy of the notes but if memory serves me well: P(T0>t) represents a survival probability; the probability that the lifetime of T0 (a random variable) is greater than some point t. Human beings are alive until we die (stating the obvious ). This is the same as saying that no event occurs before some point t, ie the point we then die. Does that help...
