Hi, I wanted to know whether SA5 is a useful subject? Does it open doors to new fields of employment? How does it compare with CFA? Thanks.
No idea about CFA. It's non-traditional - focused on risk (think ERM), corporate finance, derivatives, hedging, all sorts really. IMHO it can translate into any of the traditional fields (I switched from Pensions to Life after qualifying) - think outside of the box and you're bound to find a use for it. ... and it has "fewer" guidance notes as part of the core reading compared to the traditional subjects ...
