Fellowship questions

I notice the subject doesn't really require pulling different parts of the work into a whole but will pick one topic and pull 50 marks from it, even solutions to a question are usually copied from the 'appropriate' core-reading section without the need to really bring in different parts....when preparing for the exam this forces you to know each component deeply (for example be able to discuss everything from the notes under the Structural model incase they bring 9 marks asking you to do this - been asked) it doesn't really focus on making a whole.

Is this intended and are others realising the same thing?

Those having done ST9 will know how the questions relating to Chapters 1 - 8, often require you to build a coherent solution by bringing all of them into a whole and defining an ERM framework for a company. So here you focus on understanding when preparing, not really replicating.

The exam is a mixture of question parts that test specific bits of the core reading or syllabus, and question parts that are only loosely connected with the core reading. There arent many questions that bring various bits of core reading into one solution.
