In the bullets describing how to construct table 4.1, can someone please (perhaps) explain again how column C is calculated, so I know what it represents? I still don't get it after reading the core reading and the acted text at the bottom of the page.

The ActEd text at the bottom of page 32 pretty much hits it on the nail.

Column B shows you the total claims cost of all the claims of size less than x% of the MPL.

Column C shows you the total claims costs of bigger claims, but only that part of them that lies below x% of the MPL.
